Who Gives a Crap
Redesigning an intuitive customer portal for people who give a crap.
Background
Who Gives a Crap’s previous customer account portal was built on old, custom, rickety infrastructure that demanded high maintenance and overhead.
As the brand turned their focus to new and existing subscribers, the customer account portal was the obvious place to start.
Challenge
Transitioning to a new portal interface meant simplifying existing flows so that users were able to easily and intuitively pause, skip, delay and adjust their upcoming subscriptions.
The other challenge here was to reconcile custom interface design together with ReCharge’s out-of-the-box customer portal. We bridged the gap between these two platforms by using consistent UI so that users were able to seamlessly transition between the two.
Approach
While I had previously developed a Design System for the brand, the focus here was to extend that design system into the customer account portal which was more functional and task-based.
The new customer account portal now means loyal Who Gives a Crap customers to manage and maintain their subscription with ease.
